Apple Magic Mouse 2 won't turn on at all

So, I have an Apple Magic Mouse 2 which I have been using since a year and it has been working perfectly. Yesterday, it ran out of battery like normally and I have been charging it since then but it does not show in my Mac or anywhere else. I have tried to clean the charging port as well.

When I connect it via a lightning cable to my Mac, it is identified as Apple Mouse and while connected if I turn it off, it shows the Mouse off notification but it won't charge and show in my Mac bluetooth.
