Problem with Lightroom Classic in Sonoma

I've been experiencing significant performance issues with Lightroom Classic on macOS Sonoma 14.5. No matter which version I use, be it 13.3 or even 12.5, the program is extremely slow. This severely impacts my workflow, as I need to deliver photos quickly, and the current state of Lightroom Classic makes it practically unusable. I rely on a smooth and responsive application, and this issue is a major hindrance. Has anyone else encountered this problem or found a combination of a Lightroom Classic version and macOS version that works well? I'm willing to revert to older versions if necessary, as long as it resolves the issue. As an Adobe customer paying a monthly subscription, I need this to work effectively.

UPDATE: I reinstalled LRC version 13.3.1 and i am not experiencing the same lag times as i was with LRC version 13.4 (the Latest). I have not had issues with masking so far.

I am also experiencing issues with Lightroom Classic on an iMac Sonoma 14.5. The program freezes if I try to mask anything. I have contacted Adobe twice. The first time I was told to turn off the graphics processor. After a reboot, the masking tools were working. Fast forward a few hours with the computer on "sleep", the problem returned. Next call to Adobe had me increase the Adobe camera raw 2 cache to 30.0 gb. Again that seemed to fix the problem. yesterday. Today it is back to freezing as soon as I choose a masking tool

what model-year is your 13-in MacBook Pro? how much RAM memory?

 menu > about this Mac --- but please done post your serial number. it attracts vermin.

I am experiencing the same issues as everyone else particularly when using masks. I have Sonoma 14.2.1 on my Macbook Pro. However, i was not having this issue until i installed the latest version of LRC. So it may be an issue with LRC and not Sonoma.

Have you contacted Adobe? FWIW I use Lightroom Classic most days and have no such issues.

Does it take 5 minutes to export 30 photos? When you are cropping a photo, does it freeze? I move to the next photo and it takes a while to process the action I requested.

Yes, I have already contacted Adobe, and they have even accessed my computer, but they just made some adjustments and it stayed the same. The thing is, I used version 12.5 until some time ago and it worked fine for me. But now it doesn't. Honestly, it’s frustrating...
