Italic in Pages App

I am working on a novel via my iPhone 15, in Noto app and iPhone Notes app.

In order to save body text to computer I copy/paste each chapter to Pages App. It’s easier to access body text like that because I use PC, but I’m having TWO major issues transferring text.

Issue #1 - If I copy/paste out of iPhone Notes app, all my text dialog written as (-) dashes, are made as (•) bullets when pasted into a Word document.

Issue #2 - If I copy/paste out of Noto app into Pages app, Pages removes ITALIC in all body text.

Some of my chapters are up to 100 pages long, so it takes an enormous amount of time to fix Italics manually. I shouldn’t be having this issue in a body text formatting app. I edit my text on daily basis so it’s incredibly frustrating to have to jump back and forth to catch a missing Italic or out of place bullet.

I’m so exhausted that I’m ready to switch to whatever app that doesn’t drop any of my properties upon initial setup.

Can anyone recommend a fix or useful app that works just fine & has better export options. I’m willing to pay as long as I don’t have to run a marathon all over my pages to make sure everything works as it supposed to. I’m paying now for Noto app because I love its full version. It has everything I need for my comfort. It just has issues saving into iCloud, hence my reason for working with Pages app to access text via PC computer.
