Installing an App:
A. IMPORTANT - Back up your Mac, First:
Always create a Time Machine backup of your Mac, prior to installing any app, whatsoever. That way, you can have something to restore your Mac from, should anything go wrong with the install, from here on out.
B. Provide the Error Message:
What error message do you get? Uninstall the App and then restart you Mac, trying the install, once more. Take a Screenshot: Take a Screenshot - Apple Support. Capture a portion of the screen where this message is shown. IMPORTANT: Block out any personal information (i.e. names and eMail addresses), by coving it with red-colored rectangles and such through use of the Photos app.
C. Install in Safe Mode:
Boot into Recovery Mode (Intel or Silicon. I would assume booting in Safe Mode and installing it that way may work (because in Safe Mode, items only load as they would be default).
