I am unable to connect my mouse with my MacBook Pro via USB-C adapter

I used to connect my mouse with my MacBook via usb c adapter but now I can't. there is no option of "allow accessories to connect" in system settings?

You should not need to allow a mouse to connect. Just connect the mouse and it should just Ask or if previously connected to the Mac, it should start working immediately.

If you have changed the option at any point it may ask or require the Mac be unlocked.


The option should still be available in System Settings ➜ Privacy & Security ➜ (Scroll down past the Privacy List)
