Gmail on PC but not on I-phone
Just changed G-mail password and recovered acct. Did the weird thing where I had to go to the YouTube app to answer the question. Gmail works on my Lenovo laptop, but not on my iPhone 12.

You have to change your password on your iPhone also. The easiest way to do that is to go to Settings/Mail/Accounts, tap on and delete the account, then add it back.
And what happened with youtube is it used your youtube passkey to verify your identity. A lot of services are moving to passkeys; Apple has, Microsoft, and most other online services have or will.
