Is there a way to view only unread messages on iPad like on iPhone?

I love my Apple products. However, I wish that apps were consistent across devices. One of the issues I have is that, on my iPhone, I can “filter” my iMessages to only show “unread” message. I have not been able to find that feature on my iPad Pro (M4).

Is there a way to do the same on the iPad? Like most of us, I have “unread” messages that get buried in my text feed. I would like to view ONLY the “unread,” just like I can do on my iPhone.
