There is nothing wrong with my iPhone 14 Pro Max purchased March, 2023 how can I purchase applecare?

Can I bring my iphone 14 pro max to a store so they can check it out so I can purchase applecare? No idea how the subscription ran out, I was told it would auto-renew and I'd be charged.

iPhone 14 Pro Max, iOS 17

You can’t. You have 60 days from the original date of purchase to buy AppleCare+. If you have an AppleCare+ subscription, you have 30 days from the expiration date to renew it. If the payment method you have registered is rejected for some reason during the subscription, the subscription will be cancelled.
