It's not rude at all. If I say someone's name and then don't say anything, they are very likely going to say uh huh back to let me know they heard me. That is ALL Siri is doing is letting you know you woke Siri, but paused. If you don't want Siri to do this, simply DON'T pause after saying Siri or Hey Siri.
EXAMPLE:
You: Siri (pause)
Siri: Uh Huh?
You: What's todays weather
Siri: Will provide today's weather
OR
You: Siri what is today's weather (without any pause)
Siri: Will provide today's weather
And to your point about what you think Apple should provide, saying that here is a waste of time. This is a user to user only forum, which no one from Apple participates. As fellow users, like we all are here, we cannot make any changes to how Siri works.
