Siri says um or uh huh

This annoys me and many other people why will apple not provide a solution to this?

I’ve had enough issues with Apple products, my iMac and the poor battery life on my phones, my older Apple TV no longer supports YouTube or Netflix. Although Siri’s rude response it’s a small annoyance it shows apple does not respect their customers

Yes it is rude, I don’t know what English speaking cultural background would find this to be acceptable. Google this issue and the results show an overwhelming number of people agree, this is rude and disrespectful. Apple should provide a solution as opposed to “ask your question faster”.

It's not rude at all. If I say someone's name and then don't say anything, they are very likely going to say uh huh back to let me know they heard me. That is ALL Siri is doing is letting you know you woke Siri, but paused. If you don't want Siri to do this, simply DON'T pause after saying Siri or Hey Siri.

EXAMPLE:

You: Siri (pause)

Siri: Uh Huh?

You: What's todays weather

Siri: Will provide today's weather

OR

You: Siri what is today's weather (without any pause)

Siri: Will provide today's weather

And to your point about what you think Apple should provide, saying that here is a waste of time. This is a user to user only forum, which no one from Apple participates. As fellow users, like we all are here, we cannot make any changes to how Siri works.
