download music to iPod classic
I'm trying to download music on my classic from my Mac, only 320 out of 1200 songs did sync. why can't I download iTunes , not iTunes Store.
what's going on
Apple TV HD, tvOS 14
iTunes doesn't run on Catalina and later. Apple replaced it with separate applications (Music, TV, Podcasts, Books) and the Finder.
Like iTunes, the Music application lets you
- Import music from your own CDs
- Import purchased, non-DRMed music from other sources (e.g., the Amazon MP3 Store)
- Buy music from the iTunes Store
- Access the Apple Music subscription service. (You might not be able to download DRMed offline listening copies of Apple Music subscription songs to an iPod classic.)
Once you have all the songs you want to put on your iPod Classic in your Mac's Music library, you can connect the iPod classic to your Mac and use the Finder to perform the synchronization that iTunes once did.
