how to set up jump to linked cell in numbers

Hi Badunit - actually its easier than that - you have to highlight the CONTENTS of the cell itself - say some text related to where you want to jump to upon clicking, and then choose another sheet, URL etc etc. I was expecting it to be the cell itself. I guess this way offers more flexibility, because you can have multiple links per cell.

I'm guessing maybe you are working in the Formula Editor and you add a reference (a "jump") to a particular cell in the formula?

If so, then what you say is correct, you would first click on the contents in the formula editor, often an oval "token", and then navigate to another sheet and click.

No, you still lost me. I do not know of this feature.

If a cell has a formula in it that references other cells, you can click on one of those references and it'll take you to that cell so you can see it or choose another nearby cell/range but it won't stay there, it will jump back to the cell with the formula. Is this what you are talking about? Do you know of a way to get it to stay on the other cell?

I am not aware of there being links that jump to cells. Jumping to a sheet is the closest I know of, other than using AppleScript to do it. Is this something in a very recent version of Numbers?
