How to fix iPhone 11 update verification failure despite internet connection

The update has been downloaded but it keeps saying failed verification because you are no longer connected to the internet. The wifi is on and showing the att service bars are there. It is definitely connected to the internet. I have delete the download of the update and restarted the whole process, it always ends the same. Any help or advice?

The phone is connected to the Internet, but the update software cannot connect to the update servers over the Internet

Possible quick fixes.

If you are using a VPN, delete the profile

Make sure that the battery is fully charged

Make sure that Low Power Mode for the battery is turned off

Make sure that there is at least 12 GB of free space on the phone

If still no luck, try updating by connecting the iPhone to a Mac or PC.
