I am unable to login to my MacBook Pro 14' using the password I set it too

Basically, I cannot login to my macbook. I didn’t change the passwords or anything to my macbook but it would’t sign me in. I tried restarting it and shutting it down, but it still wouldn’t let me sign me in. I even checked for the caps lock on which wasn’t on. Im in desperate need of help. I asked my friends but they weren’t of any help saying that this never has happened to them.

Review this support article. Along with some tips for making sure the correct Input Source for your language is being used, it also shows the steps to reset it where you may be able to use your Apple ID to assist in the reset process.

Are you using a QWERTY keyboard? Occasionally, non-QWERTY keyboards revert to QWERTY. Do you see a keyboard icon in the top right of the screen? If so, click it to choose the right keyboard.

Try an external keyboard (doesn't have to be from apple).
