iPhone 13 keeps losing signal

My iPhone 13, I have had it for a year and half now, kept losing signal. The SIM was checked, which works fine, the area has strong carrier service, but my phone keeps losing signal. I had to restart my phone to regain signal for 30 seconds before losing it again. I tried taking the SIM card out and putting back in, tried reseting network settings, none of them work. I went to a repair shop, they said the SIM slot had moisture in it, I did take it with me into shower, so he replaced it with a new one. The new one did not help and the same issue continued where my phone kept losing signal and everytime I restart it, I could gain 30 seconds of signal before losing it again. I then went to genius bar for help, they said the hardwares are all fine and passed the tests, and mentioned it could be an issue with the software. My phone also restarts on its own, which the repair shop calls it "panic restart", after I restart my phone to gain a little bit of signal. Today, on my way to the repair shop, I tried taking the SIM card out and putting back in again, it all of a sudden worked. Now the issue came back up again. If you have experience with this issue, please let me know!

Any tips or personal experience will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

See About Getting this Serviced:

It would seem to be a power issue, specifically with charging your battery. So, get this iPhone serviced, ASAP:

A. Apple Stores:

Set up a Genius Bar Appointment at your local Apple Store. If an earlier model, this may not be an option. So, you'd have to take this to your local AASP. See (B.) below.

B. Contact an AASP:

Another option might be to contact an AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider). See what services that offer for this.

  1. Go Here: Find Locations - Apple Authorized Reseller
  2. Click: Service & Support
  3. Enter: your location information
  4. See: if there is an AASP nearby
  5. Contact: an AASP that shows up, and find out more about the services that they offer to fix the iPhone

Excellent job troubleshooting!

Contact your carrier, as they are the one who provide you with the service of configuring the SIM card.

Dear TheLittles,

It has been two weeks, but unfortunately I have to come back again. I truly appreciate your help because reinstallation of my IOS helped me to survive through the past two weeks. I checked with my carrier and replaced my SIM card as soon as I could. I also replaced my entire charging set as well. Unfortunately, the same issue came back yesterday and I tried updating and further reseting my phone to factory setting, which couldn't fix the issue now.

The issue came back to my phone after I charged it with my macbook for a night. I really don't think if it is an issue with charging through my laptop, though it has come to my concerns.

Thank you again for your previous help, the past two weeks have been awesome. My apologies for having to come back to you in this way, I genuinely appreciate your help and time.
