Is anyone else getting a “Carrier Settings Update” window popping up on their screen

Every day, at least once, I’m seeing a window pop up on the screen of my AT&T iPhone 14 max pro. It says:

Carrier Settings Update

New settings are available. Would you like to update them now?

Not Now. Update.

I called my cell phone carrier and the agent at the call center overseas didn’t know anything about it. What can I do to remove it? My instincts say it is not legitimate. Has this happened to anyone else?

Carrier Update (Required): Released by your Cellular Service provider (Carrier Update), affects your Outgoing / Incoming calls, SMS, Data etc..

How to Update Carrier Settings

You can manually check for and install a carrier settings update with these steps: Make sure your device is connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network. Tap Settings > General > About. If an update is available, you'll see an option to update your carrier settings.
