My new iPhone 15 Pro gets hot and battery isn't lasting

Hi there, i really have Big problems with the setup om my phone. The issue is that the phone gets very hot and the battery last very short time. I tried to buy another used phone and get the same problem with that one, then i get disapointed and confused that i buyed a complete new iPhone 15 pro and also here i’ve got the same problem. So pleace help me, if possible before i need to change for another phone company.

How long have you owned your new iPhone? If you just bought it, it's normal for a new iPhone to run warmer initially as it can take days for the phone to index all the millions of bytes of data. And if you are also using the phone heavily at the same time, it will get hot and the battery deplete faster.

You can see what may using the battery the most, by going to Settings > Battery and look at the list of things which have used the most charge. Bottom line however, give it some time to settle down. This is pretty normal for a brand new iPhone.

Things to do:

Don't ever let the battery fully discharge
Avoid letting the battery go below 20%
Charge your iPhone at night, by leaving it plugged in to charge all night, EVERY night, with Optimized Battery Charging turned on in Battery Settings
