Opening a website has become tedious with the new reload reducing privacy protection. I would like to eliminate this feature completely. Please let me know if I can do so. I have OS Monterey 12.7.5.

Please determine if there is an applicable setting to enable or disable in Safari's Preferences > Advanced. I no longer have any Macs running Monterey so I can't be more specific than that. I may be able to get my hands on one in the next few days, so I'll keep looking for a solution.

Can you describe what that is?
When you click on "reload this page" in "view" you can reload "decreasing Privacy Protection", and the website loads immediately. When opening a website it loads it with "Privacy Protection", and it takes a long time to load, so you have to "reload this page decreasing privacy protection". It's annoying to have to go through two steps now when opening a website.
Maybe I fail to understand the problem. If that's what you want is there something I'm missing?

Take care not to mistakenly infer Private Browsing does something it is not capable of doing.

Sure, just remember all that data gets purged only after you exit Private Browsing.
I only use private browsing on Safari, I don't want to have to delete unwanted website data. When I click on Safari preferences I always see "no website data", which is what I want.
