Tinder Refund via iTunes

Hi all,

Last year around this time, I subscribed to Tinder Gold. (My grandfathered Tinder Plus account was actually better, so it was immediately a bad decision, but it turned out to actually get worse.) In January of this year, a girl tried to scam me via cell phone, and then when I called her out, she submitted a false report on me to Tinder, and then Tinder immediately took her side and banned me, without hearing my side of the story at all. I sent them emails, even attaching photos of her texting me saying, "I was just tryina scam you, goof*** n****," and all Tinder did was send me copy-pasted emails saying I'm banned (which I obviously already knew) and that they're unable to reactivate my account.

When it became clear they were unwilling to investigate my situation or give me any personalized customer service whatsoever, I simply asked for a refund, and that's when Tinder completely stopped replying to my emails.

Now I'm trying to get my refund for the year's subscription on my own. When I try to do it on Tinder's site, I select iOS, and it tells me I need to submit it through Apple's site. When I find the subscription on Apple's site and click "Manage subscriptions" (picture #1), it directs me to iTunes. When I find the charge on iTunes, it shows me the charge, but there is no option to click "Request Refund." It lets me click "Edit" (picture #2), but that button only gives me options to upgrade my nonexistent service (picture #3).

This entire situation is maddening from start to finish. May someone please help me?

Thank you.

AFAIK, as long as you do not select one of those subscription options, the subscription will not be renewed.

Hi Dah•veed,

Thank you for your reply and for reminding me of that option, because that's actually another thing I tried, and it's also giving me issues. When I select "Request a refund" and "My purchase doesn't work as expected," it gives me a list of iOS purchases I've made, but only includes my monthly iCloud+ storage, no other app purchases. It lets me search by price or scroll through all my options, but there is no Tinder option there. Screenshot of it is below.

And yes, I have confirmed I won't be charged again, thankfully. My primary concern is getting refunded.
