Apple TV "along with" Apple Music?

Does anyone have any idea how we could watch Apple TV Originals Movies on Apple TV app if we have a subscription for Apple Music?

I was wondering about this issue since I've read something like that when I first signed in my student account on Apple Music. The message was saying that I could watch some movies free on Apple TV+ if I accept the terms for Music subscription.

Apple Music Student subscribers can get Apple TV+ with it, as an automatic (unlisted) add-on. This is individual, and not shareable like regular Apple TV+ subscriptions.

Access Apple TV+ with your Apple Music student subscription
If you have an Apple Music student subscription, you get access to Apple TV+ at no extra cost. Just open the Apple TV app and start watching Apple Originals. You can't share this Apple TV+ access with Family Sharing.

If you no longer qualify for an Apple Music Student subscription, then Apple TV+ will no longer be bundled. Instead, users will have to subscribe to these two services (regular Apple Music Individual or Apple Music Family, and Apple TV+) separately, or get the bigger bundle of Apple One. Select the one that best fits your situation (and budget). Non-student Apple Music does not include Apple TV+.

1- Could the reason be that I'm living outside US or it's not related to the region issue of Apple TV?

When the support.apple.com site is configured for your own country, then Get an Apple Music student subscription - Apple Support will be specific to your country as well, including the paragraph about Apple TV+. Find the page’s locality in the bottom-right corner of the page (and also in the expanded URL). You can change it there if needed.

Apple TV+ and Apple Music are available in the countries as described here (to users with Apple ID accounts set to one of these supported countries): Availability of Apple Media Services (by country) - Apple Support. I am not aware of other restrictions for the combination offer.

2- How can I find Apple Originals Movies "on the TV app in my macbook"? Should I download another app named "TV+" or not?

The TV app on up-to-date Macs would have a sidebar on the left, which would include a tab for ‘Apple TV+’. Find the Apple Original content there. Be sure to be signed in to the Apple TV app, through the menu Account in the menu bar along the top of the screen, using the Apple ID account that has the subscription linked to it.

Now I see that I have a mac version issue since I'm using MacOS Monterey.
There's no sidebar in my Apple TV app and therefore I cannot see the AppleTV+ extension on the left.

Not really an issue. It is there in Monterey, it may look a little different, like tabs along the top of the window.

Watch Apple TV+ in the Apple TV app on Mac (where supported) - Apple Support

However, the country can be an issue if the Apple TV+ isn’t offered there. Then references to Apple TV+ in the TV app would be hidden.

Thank you for this very detailed information first.

I have a valid Apple Music Student subscription and I can listen to any song I want.

So far there's no problem with this.

The problem is that I'm trying to watch some free movies on "TV application" in my macbook with my Apple ID, signed in, but I cannot find any.

I mean, I cannot see or find any Apple Originals Movies on the TV app. so that I can try my student subscription.

My quick questions are as follows:

1- Could the reason be that I'm living outside US or it's not related to the region issue of Apple TV?

2- How can I find Apple Originals Movies "on the TV app in my macbook"? Should I download another app named "TV+" or not?

Hi again and thank you so much.

Now I see that I have a mac version issue since I'm using MacOS Monterey.

There's no sidebar in my Apple TV app and therefore I cannot see the AppleTV+ extension on the left.

Thank you very much for the screen shot:)

By the way I checked "Apple TV+" and even "Apple One" subscription availability here in my country and the result is negative:(

Again thank you for the link you shared above.

Cheers.
