On my previous MacBook Air of 5 years I had no dramas 'copy/pasting' a table from Numbers into Pages where I could further edit it, centre it on the pages etc.
Since getting my new MacBook Air last month there are so many things I can't figure out, for the life of me I can no longer drag or copy/past the table across.
MacBook Air 13″, macOS 14.5
In numbers, activate the table by selecting any cell
Then select (single click) the Table drag control at the top left (the concentric circles)
copy
switch to Pages,
single click to set the insertion point,
paste
If this doesn't work, I suggest restarting you computer
If it doesn't work after that, I would start New documents in Number and in Pages

Did you try from a new Numbers document and a new Pages document?
No luck 😩
Restarted my laptop.
Tried all above methods.
Copy the table by the top left circle, or by selecting all the cells in the table etc..
Pasting in all the various ways.
No idea, but very frustrating.
Copy-paste works well on my machine, updated to Numbers 14.1 running under Sonoma 14.5.

Thanks SG, same versions here, but can’t get it to work. I can copy/paste within numbers the same table. But just not into pages.

Have tried the copy/past as above & with commands with no luck.
Yep no luck. Have just tried that too.
It knows I have copied something as the option to copy when I go over to Pages is not an option to click, just the paste. But still can’t paste.
