I recently purchased a new MagSafe 2 MacBook charger for my A1502 MacBook Pro Retina 13" - Early 2015
When I first plugged it in it was green Then it stopped working with the macbook
note: This MacBook is used and worn so it is possible it’s a battery issue or something with the MacBook’s port
I don’t have the proper screwdriver at the moment so I can’t look at the hardware
the green and amber LEDs are only turned on in response to commands from the computer. if the computer is completely confused, connect the power adapter and leave it alone overnight, in hopes that it will trickle-charge enough overnight to be more responsive by morning. in the morning, try an SMC reset in hopes that it will perk up and the SMC will start a regular charge cycle after that.

If it's possible, try to check your MacBook Pro battery with Apple Diagnostics if it reports battery related error.
Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac – Apple Support (AU)
Then it is very likely your MacBook Pro needs service.
There is nothing to see if you open it up.
can you power it up and run it with the power adapter connected?
No, I might take it to a repair shop to check it
The battery is dead.
Update: I have to take the MacBook to see if the port is broken or if the charger is broken if the charger is broken I will take it to an Apple Store to replace it/refund it to get the MacBook up and running
if nothing works then I might sell the MacBook for parts/repair it fully but I need to get money for that
