Magsafe 3 Charger not working

Have only had the 2023 Macbook Pro 14 inch for a month or so. My adapter is not working for some reason, I have checked for damage of any sort and there is none and it was working fine just yesterday. The light on the charger doesn't turn on and nothing happens when I put it on the charging port. I have tried different adapters (for my iphone) and they charge fine so it is not a problem with the socket. I have followed the instructions on the support page, i.e. checking for line noise, etc. This hasn't yielded any success. Not sure what to do as this is an almost new item and there appears to be nothing wrong with it. Any help would be much appreciated.
