When the iPhone 13 Pro Max is switched to Low Power Mode, the screen flickers briefly.
I found that enabling Low Power Mode can completely turn off HDR, preventing it from being activated. This is because, even after turning off the HDR option on my iPhone 13 Pro Max, videos on Instagram or in the photo album would still suddenly become brighter. Therefore, I choose to enable Low Power Mode even when the battery is fully charged.
However, in the past week, when I enable Low Power Mode, the screen flickers briefly. The flickering looks like HDR mode is suddenly turned on. A few days later, the screen started having abnormal white flickers, and eventually, the screen went completely white and unusable. The phone had not been dropped and had only been used for two years when this issue occurred, so I had to send it for repair. But today, after receiving the repaired phone, I noticed that the flickering issue persists when Low Power Mode is enabled. I’m not sure if this is a software error or a hardware malfunction.
