This is an iTunes question. My iPod is getting full and I want to remove some music to make room but to keep the music in my iTunes library on my PC. Is this what unchecking is for? If so, do I uncheck on my iPod or in my library on my PC?

I have an iPod Touch with software version 15.8.2 and run Windows 10.

Windows, Windows 10

Connect your iPod to your PC, open iTunes on the PC, select your iPod and in the Music tab choose “Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genre.” Select the songs/albums etc. that you’d like to see on the iPod. The non-selected music will stay on your PC.
