Macbook Pro M3 MAX detects 2nd monitor but only displays black

I have had my M3 for a little over a month. Last week, it wasn't connecting to the internet like normal, so I restarted it. After restarting the M3, the internet worked again, but now my second external monitor will not display the extended screen and shows black. Not black like it has no power, but black like the computer is actually sending the black image to the monitor. It detects that the monitor is connected and responds like it is connected, but nothing. I tried to see if I could adjust the monitor settings on the monitor itself, but it would not display those either. It was working completely fine until I restarted my M3.

HDMI cables you want for HDMI-only Displays (higher resolutions than 720p TV sets) are marked as Certified with an anti-counterfeiting tag and are labeled:

"Premium High Speed HDMI cable" or that + "with Ethernet" --OR--

"Ultra High Speed HDMI cable" or that + "48G"

Cables with No Certification tags are good for your standard 720p TV set, and not much more.

HDMI was invented for HD TV sets. it works great at its original resolution of 720i or 720p. At higher resolutions, it quickly develops issues that are complex to solve, and the cables and adapters required to solve are NOT intuitive.

I have it connected directly to the HDMI port on the laptop. I have also tried connecting through a hub with the lightening port. All have the same result. I have tested the same connection by plugging in my tv with HDMI cable into the same hub and it worked fine. My other monitor is connected via a display port cable in another hub.
