Can SIM card from my lost iPhone be inserted in another phone to access my information?

My iPhone was stolen. Can that person put the card in another phone to access my information?

The phone is locked from the find my app and erase feature turned on. Has also been disabled from carrier.

It is possible that the bad guys can place the SIM card from your phone in another phone and learn your phone number. So, they might be able to send you a text message that appears to be from "Apple" or "Apple Service" claiming that your phone has been found and you just need to provide some additional information so the phone can be returned to you.

Apple will never send a message like this, so you know that this is scam that is trying to trick you into revealing personal information. Ignore and delete any messages like this.
