Unable to use Instagram on my iPhone 13 mini

I cannot use the Instagram app on my iPhone 13 mini. I know my login and password, I am able to log in using the website on my PC, on Safari, and Google Chrome. But when I use the same login and password on the Instagram app the app will show an password error message. My app has an issue and I don’t know what to do. I need Instagram to work. Please someone help me fix this problem. I tried contacting Instagram, but they don’t have any support team.

Yeah doesn’t seem like an easy to contact support through normal means . If this doesn’t work you may want to use your FB to contact Meta.

Try this though:

in FB:

Settings > Settings and Privacy > see more in Accounts center> at the bottom look for Accounts. If your new account shows up there, remove and re-add it. If it doesn’t, then add it.

Also in Settings > Settings and Privacy > see more in Accounts center> Logging in with Accounts- check if you have it set to Simple

re-try IG and see if it’s any better.

What happened when it stopped working? Have you tried uninstalling it?

Also, it is part of Meta now so it may have a connection with your FB.

For assistance with third-party apps and services and logins and issues, contact the app provider; contact Meta Instagram support.

If you have an add-on VPN client app installed, I’d also remove that, and try again.

It stopped working when I created a new account and it wouldn’t log in to my new account. Then I deleted the app and downloaded it again, and I couldn’t even log in to my original account. I have also deleted the cache, restarted the phone, and nothing. If it has a connection with my Facebook, what can I do about that?
