Apple Watch Irritation/Burn

hi! i’m new to having an apple watch about a month or so. yesterday at work my arm started to burn and was stinging a bit, when i took my watch off my skin was a bit bubbled and red. i didn’t take a picture at the moment, because of having no time (b/c of working). this is the photo of a day and a half later, less bubbled but still painful to touch. any advice on what i should do?

See your primary care physician and get a diagnosis. Visit an allergist and be tested for sensitivities to various materials.

You may have contact dermatitis caused by an allergic reaction or sensitivity to Nickel in the metal cases or bands. Nickel is used in the hardening process of stainless steel, aluminum and sapphire crystal.

>>In fact, it is estimated that more than 18 percent of people in North America are allergic to nickel, including 11 million children in the U.S.<<
