Translucent Black Outline on Screen when clicking desktop

I noticed this first when I logged onto my computer with the new dynamic wallpapers. There was a translucent black outline on the bottom of my screen. Naturally, I clicked on the black outline, causing it to spread around the outline of the rest of my screen. Then half of the dynamic wallpaper (New York City Night) went black around the tops of the buildings (almost as if the exposure went down).

I decided to change my wallpaper. to a lighter one, and the black outline on the bottom of my screen remained. when I click anywhere over this outline, the larger screen outline comes on screen. You can see the outline below.

I restarted my computer to see if maybe it was a glitch, but it remained when I clicked.

This outline only appears when i click on the desktop. Idk what it is, if its normal or bad, just curious.

Hey, thanks for the response, my Stage Manager is turned off. And the problem has now evolved to whenever I hit my desktop, all the apps fly to the sides of the computer.

[Update] I fixed the problem, it appears that I needed to change the "click wallpaper to reveal desktop" to "only in stage manager" instead of "always."

Turn off the new Stage Manager and compare your results
