16.6GB free, but Photos says icloud full and wont sync.

My iCloud back up got full. I deleted several GBs worth of photos, videos and back ups.

I have 16.6GB free again.

But the Photos app continues to say that icloud is full and will not sync and asks me to pay to upgrade.

What is going on? I've restarted the phone twice. I've even logged into iCloud online and deleted more photos and videos.

Is Apple trying to scam me into buying additional storage space?

When i try to sync the photos on iCloud, I get the message that my iCloud space is full, despite the 50GB left! I guess there are around 1000 photos to be synched (few videos). How to solve? Note: recently I freed some space in iCloud, going from 200GB (0GB free) to 180GB (20GB free) and finally to 150GB (50GB free), so maybe some cache file is still there. But still, it says I have 50GB free, so I think I should be able to use this space!

Need help:iCloud Photos taking up so much storage Hello! I’ve got this odd problem where I only have 465 photos and 12 videos but it seems to take up 8.7GB in storage and I can’t figure out why. I turned ‘sync my IPhone’ off prior and it deleted 200 photos but the amount of storage it took up still didn’t change however it only increased 1GB in photo library backup. I’ve tried switching my phone on and off to see if it will update but nothing has happened so far. Any tips would be appreciated

Why is my iCloud storage full with only 400 photos and 71 videos? my Phone keep on alerting me that my iCloud storage is full and I should upgrade to a subscription of 0.99, I don’t think my iCloud storage is full because I only have like less than 400 pictures & 71 videos in the cloud and before that I had way more in thousands.
