unable to connect macbook pro (A2141) to wifi to complete the macOS installation
MacBookPro (A2141) is an office machine that was previously working. We cannot recall what macOS version it had before. It was reformatted for reuse by another individual. However, it is unable to connect to the wifi. Upon selecting the access point and putting in the wifi password, the process indicator right next to the password field is just continuously rotating. We let it run for >20 minutes but it didn't progress from there. We eventually cancelled the connection process and tried another wifi and got the same result.
Both wifis are known to be working for other Macs and Windows-based machines.
