Unable to get my camera to focus on my iPhone 12

Am trying to have this thread going again as my iPhone 12 have started (first noticed at the 1 of July 2024) to do the very same thing as described in this thread:

My iPhone 12 all of a sudden couldn’t focus the camera. Hard restart will not solve the issue. Is this a known problem and how do you fix it?

I have already reinstalled the software as new after I wiped the phone clear.

After reading the troubleshooting steps you already performed (to no avail), I suggest that you make an appointment(*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> https://locate.apple.com/choose-country-region . After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.

Online:--> Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple;
Contacting a local Apple Store or AASP among the list provided above;
Using the "Apple Store" app, available and downloadable from AppStore.
