How can I group songs by Artist in Compilation Albums on Apple Music?

When Music groups songs by artist, it takes the name of the singer from the "album artist" field. Hence if you have compilation albums, their songs will not be grouped by the singer but, most likely, pulled together under "Various Artists" or not listed under the Artists category at all (if that field in the album description is empty). As a result, you cannot easily see all songs of a singer if some of them are included in a compilation album. It would make more sense to use the field "artist" in the song info.

In the Songs view of the library use View > Column Browser > Show Column Browser (if needed) and then experiment with the options View > Column Browser > Group Compilations and View > Column Browser > Use Album Artists. Unticking the second one will probably give you what you're after. Despite the location of these switches they affect behaviour elsewhere within the library.
