populate a pop up menu from another sheet in numbers

I have a fairly large spreadsheet that I use to create beer recipes.

One sheet has ingredients, their specifications, and their prices.

Another sheet is the one I use to create a recipe.

What I want is to create a pop up menu on my recipe creation sheet that will pull up the ingredients located on the ingredient sheet.

I've used the spreadsheet before in this way, but am updating all my ingredients and costs and want an automated way to populate these pop up menus without having to type out the ingredients a second time in the recipe sheet.

I'm pretty sure I've automated this process in the past, but can't remember how. Does such a feature exist?

In other words take items from column A in "The Lookup"

and populate a pop up menu in Column A in "Brew Day" as shown in the attached screen shots.

Thanks for any help!

Sorry but Apple Numbers can not create dynamic Pop Down Menus.

They always have a defined list, that has no connection to a different sheet / list.

You can copy an existing column in your Pop Down Menu, but that is a manual process.

You would have to do this as soon as your ingredient list will change.

I just checked and Microsoft Excel has this option.

Here you define a list that should be used in a Pop Down Menu and as soon as you change the master list all Pop Down Menus that use this list will change automatically.

It is not the answer you want, but now you can see how important the feature is for your workflow.
