Camera not recognized

Last year I got a replacement phone from Verizon after the screen on mine broke. I updated my iPhone recently and I’m getting the camera not recognized message and sometimes the camera won’t woke unless it’s in video mode (every camera mode I use the screen is black) and when it does work it is automatically in x2 zoom. It said on the phone that the issue may be due to the camera not being a genuine iPhone camera but the phone was from Verizon and I haven’t installed anything new on the phone.
