Alarm in my iPhone not sounding when set post update

I have the latest iOS 17.5.1 update on my iPhone 11.

My alarm does not ring in the morning which is a nuisance. I tried everything so far including the volume settings, haptics, clicking off the ‘Change button’ to no avail.

can anyone help please?

Sorted- within the actual alarm time (edit mode), I noticed that the sound was set to ‘None’. I set a sound and it is working now.
