Skip youtube ad with iPhone Apple TV Remote app without unlocking iPhone

Is there a way to 'click' to skip the Youtube ad using the iPhone Apple TV remote app while the iPhone is on the locked screen?

Currently, while watching Youtube on AppleTV, when an ad appears,

1. I grab my iPhone
2. Unlock the iPhone (Face ID)
3. Open the AppleTV Remote app from the iPhone
4. Wait for it to connect to the AppleTV
5. click on the center of the remote
6. and then 'skips' the ad

It would be amazing if I could skip #2,3,4 and just raise my iPhone and hit a button from the lock screen to hit 'skip'

Hope others agree with this!
