I am unable to update my Book using Pages on my Mac Studio

I have tried to update a book previously created with iBooks Producer in Pages.

The Pages documentation says to open old iBooks in Pages to update them.

I did that and the submission was rejected. I then completely recreated a new version of the book with

many complete re-writes and recreated the book from scratch in Pages and when I submitted the update I got the same error message "Books created in iBook Producer cannot be update with Pages".

WHAT???

That is the opposite of what the Pages documentation states.


Is there anyone in the community that can help?????

Pages v14.1 should be able to open and translate original saved iBooks Author documents (.iba) but interactive features of iBooks Author will not be in that translation. Pages does not open produced EPUBS.
