title says it all. I just feel like I’m using a computer mouse without a locking scroll wheel. It’s funky after loving the way it was and waking up to a change.

haptic feedback isn’t what I’m talking about. It’s the way the crown hardware works. Basically, it looks like the way a loose tooth moves when pressed unevenly.

It sounds like a mechanical issue with the Watch that cannot be resolved via a setting or updated software. Please review the symptoms with Apple Support. Ultra 2 is still under warranty, but if you bought the Watch when first released, the warranty is getting close to expiring and you should have it looked at ASAP. If you purchased Apple Care with the Watch you have an additional couple of years of protection.

Mine started the exact same thing this morning - it’s annoying and feels super cheap.
Apple Watch Ultra 2 - Digital Crown “click resistance” gone, wobbly as well.
