I have a new imac 2024 and a Macbook Pro from 2022. I am not (and I don't want to be) an Apple Music subscriber. the two devices are linked by home sharing but each has its own music library. How do I get both devices to use the music library that's on iMac?

but I don't believe they will "automatically" synchronize. You will probably have to do that manually every so often.
Can new iMac and older Macbook have the one music library without subscribing to Apple Music?
