Bringing up Apple Diagnostics with keyboard shortcut

I am having a lot of problems with my imac 2017. I am using Ventura 13.6.7 and I have followed all the instructions below and still can't boot it up in Apple Diagnostics. I have already run disk utility at all levels and everything is fine. I have tried booting up holding down the D key only and the option-D key plus all the advice about plugging in the keyboard etc. I am trying to hold off buying a new desktop until Apple releases a new model. I appreciate any advice.

What problems or issues are you encountering with your 2017 iMac..?

The Apple Diagnostics Test will only produce codes that say: "There may be an issue with ____"

see > Apple Diagnostics reference codes - Apple Support

To get a better picture of what is actually causing a problem or issue:

Download and run the free version of EtreCheckPro, from > https://etrecheck.com/en/index.html

Then port the Report, as per > How to use the Add Text Feature When Post… - Apple Community
