Text Variables in Pages
Is it possible to use variables to change a word that is repeated once, in the form of a variable, in the same document?

Pages does not support variables. There may be three alternatives depending on a deeper explanation of what you want to accomplish.
- Find/Replace tool
- Merge fields when performing Mail/data merge from a Numbers spreadsheet
- Placeholder text fields
