How do I unlock my iPhone screen that has suddenly locked while using the phone?

Well, if you really have tried all the hints, then things are pretty much hopeless for a do-it-yourself fix.

If one of the hints included a Forced Restart and you tried this a few times with no help, then your next step would be to make an appointment at the Apple Store or take the phone to an authorized Apple service shop.

There has been a serious hardware failure on your phone that may involve a main circuit board and/or battery replacement.
