FCP iPad animated text changes underlying background

I have a background (picture or standard background) and above it a text, that is animated. Suddenly the text is tied to the background, i.e. if I scale the text, the background is scaled as well. In previous projects, that worked fine. But all of a sudden, if I do this - even in one of the old projects, where I have an example that works fine - the problem appears. Have you encountered that too? And found a solution?

First, try deleting preferences - always a good idea when the application appears to misbehave.

To delete preferences, hold down command and option while starting the application and click Delete Custom Settings. The application will start with default settings and open an "Untitled" library. Adjust the settings, reopen the library you were working, and see how it works now.

If the issue persists: What title is this, specifically? Some titles are made this way - affecting the background. This depends on how the title was made in Motion. Now this ought not change for a title that was already in the timeline, but please do tell us which title. Is it a built-in or third party title?

Try reproducing the issue using the built-in "Basic Title". Do you see the same behavior?

Can you share an xml of a minimal example exhibiting this behavior.
