privacy setting on iphone not saving

I’m in the screen time privacy settings and I selected apps allowed access to contacts. I go back and it says choosing “don’t allow” locks the current settings, no new apps will have access.

I click “don’t allow” go out and back in and ZERO apps are set to have access to contacts even though they showed correctly before clicking the don’t button. Help?

Unable to change contact permissions for apps in iOS 18 I recently tried to grant an app access to my contacts but found the contacts page under privacy & security with a list of all my contacts up top and the option to toggle access for apps greyed out/locked. I’m unsure of how to get around this and if there’s a setting elsewhere I have set that’s messing with this. I have a 15 pro running iOS18.0, and my work phone (iPhone 11) still on iOS 17 doesn’t have this issue, which leads me to think it’s a iOS 18 bug. Any ideas?

I can't enable "Allow Contact Editing" on my daughter's iPhone Hi, I disabled this feature. After a discussion with my wife and daughter, we decided to allow her to add and edit contacts on her phone. When I tried to enable the setting on my iphone, the slider will turn off when I exit the screen. Is there another setting I am missing?

I can't download the Contacts app again on my iPhone 14 Pro Max My contacts app disappeared, and none of the calls in my call history, nor my text messages, are associated with contacts anymore. I went to download the Contacts app and was only given the option to open it, not download the app. I also tried resetting my Home Screen [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Ordinarily, you would adjust privacy settings in Settings>Privacy& Security. In this case, Settings>Privacy & Security>Contacts. What that setting in Screen Time does is to prevent someone who's phone is managed by Screen Time (usually a child) from adding any other apps to the list.
