Docked displays being recognized as one...

I have my 2019 base MacBook Pro plugged in to an HP USB-C dock with three displays connected, when I plug in my HP laptop all three displays work as three individual displays, but when my MacBook is connected, it sees the three displays as the same one, only allowing mirroring.

Belkin Thunderbolt 4 dock not recognizing two external displays on Mac Hey guys, I just bought the Belkin Thunderbolt 4 pro to plug 2 external displays to my Macbook Pro M3 Pro (some basic Full-HD 60Hz displays). But when I'm plugging both of them to the dock, and the dock to my macbook via Thunderbolt, they appear as one single display in the System settings > Displays panel. Macbook Pro M4 recognizing dual external displays as one monitor Hi everyone, I’m having trouble connecting my new MacBook Pro M4 to two external monitors using a dock. No matter what I try, macOS always recognizes both monitors as a single display instead of two separate screens. I have already tried: Different docks (both powered and non-powered) Various HDMI and DisplayPort cables Changing display settings in macOS Nothing seems to work. Both monitors mirror each other instead of being detected as separate displays. Has anyone else faced this issue? Is there a specific dock or setup that works with dual monitors on the M4 MacBook Pro? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Mac Studio cannot detect multiple displays from Docking Station Hi All, I have a new Mac Studio M2 Max - Sonoma 14.5. I would like to connect it to my Docking Station (Lenovo ThinkPad Universal USB-C Dock (40AY0090UK) which is plugged into 3 display monitors (Samsung S27R65x). The 3 displays are connected via 2x DP and 1x HDMI to the docking station. My docking station is connected to the Mac Studio via a single USB-C Cable. The Mac Studio feeds into all 3 displays as duplicates. However, i cannot extend the displays to treat them as separate monitors (as Mac Studios only sees 1 monitor in my Display settings. Can anyone advise?

To use TWO fully hardware accelerated displays on one cable out of a Mac, the port, the cable, and the first device (Dock or Display) must be genuine Thunderbolt.

USB-C has only half the data pathways of Thunderbolt, and the Mac does not support two hardware-accelerated displays on a USB port.
