Is there a way to avoid re-pairing AirPods Max every time I switch devices?

Every time I try to switch my AirPods Max to a different device I have to forget it and then pair it again. For example, I’ll have them connected to my Windows PC, but when I want to use them on my iPhone, It says the device is no longer available and I have to forget it.

If you’re using non-Apple devices, not really. Like most devices, they can only be ‘paired’ with one device at a time.

The exception is Apple devices. They will work with any device using the same icloud account without re-pairing.
