Iphone 15 pro max Battery Health drops fast

Hi, I have an iPhone 15 pro max and I have noticed a sudden battery health drop in the past week. My iPhone from 248 cycles and 95 % battery health dropped to 92 % at 258 cycles. Before that battery health dropped 1 % per month on average. I only use the original cable charger and optimized charge. Is that normal ??

No one said it is a linear progression downward. I would just use it. Let the software work for you.

That 1% drop is an average. Battery Health might not drop at all for 2-3 months, then drop 2-3% suddenly the next month.

Your phone has gone through 258 cycles. On average, you can expect about a 1% drop for every 25 cycles.

So, 258 divided by 25 = 10.3%. So, things would be normal if the Battery Health is at 89-91%.

At 92%, your battery is doing a bit better than average.
