Syncing iPhone with iPad

When I delete text messages and Gmail from my iPhone, they do not delete from my iPad and vice versa. How do I correct this?

Syncing out-of-sync Text Messages between Macbook/iPhone Hello! My iCloud messages are out of sync after setting up a new phone. The messages on my phone/macbook are in sync moving forward, but my phone is missing old messages that my macbook has. If I go through the "sync messages" process from my macbook, will that push all my existing messages up to my iCloud, or just pull what is on my phone? Both devices are signed into the same icloud account. Thanks in Advance!

On your iPhone go to Settings/Messages/Text Message Forwarding and be sure your iPad is selected. Then go to Settings/[your name]/iCloud on both devices and turn on Messages syncing. Note that both devices must be logged in to the same Apple ID.
