Hello! My iCloud messages are out of sync after setting up a new phone.
The messages on my phone/macbook are in sync moving forward, but my phone is missing old messages that my macbook has.
If I go through the "sync messages" process from my macbook, will that push all my existing messages up to my iCloud, or just pull what is on my phone? Both devices are signed into the same icloud account.

If you use messages in iCloud you can use the sync messages button to sync message from the device to iCloud. You can perform the same operation on the other device(s) too to synchronize everything. Your new phone may also still be syncing from iCloud.
